Addition and Renovation
Lothrop Associates designed the reconstruction of “modern” building additions to blend with the historic 1920s era architecture of the Scarsdale Golf Club. To achieve continuity, a distinctive rhythm of classical columns, detailing and decorative ironwork was added to the facade. A seasonal indoor/outdoor dining room was included with a unique folding glass wall system that opens the entire dining room to the outdoors. Additional outside dining overlooking the 18th green with stone terraces doubled the outdoor seating capacity. The project also included updated locker rooms, a new kitchen and bar adjacent to the dining areas.
